Cash Farm Leasing

PROUD TO BE AMERICAN FARMERS

When you decide to allow us to farm your property, we will work with you to develop a Cash Farm Lease that is acceptable to you as the landowner.  We do not farm any property using shares.  All acres leased are on Cash Rent basis.

Why do we need a Cash Farm Lease?

Unfortunately, a handshake is no longer an acceptable way to do business, so we issue a Cash Farm Lease for a few different reasons:

▪ We participate with the Farm Service Agency (USDA).  We are required to report the acres and crops to this office to qualify for certain programs available to farmers.

▪ The Landowner’s signature ensures we have permission to farm the property, and the Farm Service Agency will keep our landowners informed on anything relating to their land.

▪ It is just a good way to do business.  We know what to expect and the landowner knows what to expect.
